SEFE, Inc. (SEFE) is a development-stage company. The Company was founded to develop and bring to market a renewable source of energy that naturally occurs in the atmosphere. The SEFE system is designed to operate by capturing static electricity from the atmosphere and making it usable for mining, manufacturing, and construction companies; utility companies; mining relief organizations; among others. The Company plans on generating revenue by selling the electricity produced by its Harmony III commercial grade units, as well as by leasing the units themselves. The key to its Harmony III unit is its ability to capture and translate the electrical source found in the atmosphere into a usable current that can be utilized in generators and existing power grids without changes to the current power infrastructure. As of December 31, 2011, it had not generated revenues from this new line of business.

SEFE Completes Initial Prototype of Corona Discharge Electrostatic Motor

BOULDER, Colo., Sep 12, 2012 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- SEFE, Inc. (otcbb/otcqb:SEFE) (the "Company"), a solutions-driven company developing products and technologies that improve worldwide access to basic resources, including energy, food and water, today announces the completion of a low-power corona discharge motor prototype at its headquarters in Boulder, Colo. This type of electrostatic motor is well suited for medium and high power applications, and represents an additional avenue the R&D team is pursuing for the conversion of atmospheric electricity.

The corona discharge motor employs a dielectric cylinder lined on the inside with thin metallic foil. The motor is surrounded by multiple alternating polarity corona discharge terminals that spray charge onto the dielectric surface when a high voltage is applied. The grounded poles of the motor serve as a current sink. Corona discharge enables the device to handle much higher DC currents than traditional electrostatic motors.

"Our prototype motor serves as a low power proof of concept for this type of electrostatic motor," stated SEFE Director of Engineering Michael Hurowitz. "We'll be working to increase the capabilities of these motors to handle much stronger currents as we move forward."

this company ran a really good pump last year.....the current run is also a result of a pump...i dont expect it to go multi dollar again or anything but SEFE has promotion down to a science...could be a multiday runner here
